First time that I attend a baseball match live in a stadium. I was very happy to witness the game between the Capitales de Québec playing against The New Jersey Jackals.
I’ll be honest, I haven’t watch a baseball match ever. I don’t know how all the rules and details takes place, had to ask a lot of questions and even tried to watch beforehand YouTube videos about rules - basically I know baseball just from the movies!
Perhaps, growing up in a soccer country could be one of the reasons. What I find really fascinating about baseball, is the aesthetic of body movement, the player who hits the ball and the one who has to throw it (Baseball language: hitter & pitcher ). The atmosphere in the stadium I truly enjoyed; I encountered several heartfelt moments between fans, the snacks, the diversity and their love for the game. It felt like a big family went to see a game.
