An Alphabet of Dogs is an illustrated alphabet book featuring just under 200 dogs playfully depicted in intricate,full color illustrations, chasing a ball, coalescing into each letter.
Each letter is composed of, and arranged with, seven to ten dogs whose breed begin by that letter. For example A is made of the Australian Shepherd, Akita, Affenpinscher, Airedale Terrier, etc... Jumping after a ball.
Exceptions are for the letters X, Y, O, U, Q and Z

X represents all the mixed breeds, those that don't fit in the box
Y, O, U, are depicted with peoples' actual pets, a way of including people's stories of love and comfort with their beloved pets. A bond that is both universal and unique.
Q is depicted by dogs that serve people thanks to their unique skill sets, training and qualifications.
And Z ends the book with a pile of sleeping dogs alongside their resting ball.
